Clinical Coordinator - Adults (LPC, LCSW Preferred)

This position works closely with the Program Director by providing comprehensive oversight of the assigned Substance Abuse and Mental Health program . This position also provides direct patient care services and clinical leadership in treatment planning, patient care, program development and refinement, and assists with the evaluation of staff performance.
Job Functions and Duties:
Provide oversight of assigned programs and collaborate with the Program Director.
Demonstrate the clinical expertise and competency necessary to treat clients with substance abuse.
Ability to describe and teach relapse prevention skills and recovery models.
Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions for assigned case load and patients admitted to substance abuse and mental health program.
Provide age appropriate care as necessitated by the client's lifespan and age.
Document each treatment session in a timely manner and in accordance with GenPsych's policies.
Coordinate the development and implementation of the treatment plan and reviews within established time frames.
Attend morning rounds and scheduled treatment plan meetings on-time, providing input for and being receptive to other members of the treatment team.
Identify changes in client's clinical status and communicate any changes to the treatment team.
Assists with the evaluation of substance abuse program staff.
Help ensure the program remains in compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies.
Participate in the preparation and revision of policies and procedures and program goals pertaining to substance abuse and mental health
Develop and implement curriculum for groups in the substance abuse and mental health program.
Supports customer service and performance improvement goals of the program.
Collaborates with other caregivers/staff within and outside the department to develop means of enhancing patient care services.
Serve as a resource to clients and families, as well as, the point of contact for AA and NA, as part of the Recovery Speaker Series.
Maintain standards of confidentiality at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by the Program Director.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or doctoral degree in mental health counseling, social work or other related human services field; and
Three years' experience providing mental health and substance abuse services; and
New Jersey licensure in good standing:
Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or
Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC); or
Post-doctoral student; AND
Enrollment in clinical supervision with full licensure pending; or
New Jersey full licensure in good standing;
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); or
Licensed Psychologist
Certification as a New Jersey Licensed Clinical and Alcohol Drug Counselor (LCADC) or other New Jersey licensed clinician eligible to treat substance abuse within the scope of practice; and

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
