Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Bid Analyst to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this role excels in a team environment, has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is very organized.
Your primary focus will be on net off invoice pricing and assisting in the completion and submission of bids for additional business.
You will work closely with manufacturers to request pricing information, analyze bid requirements, and ensure accurate and competitive bids are submitted in a timely manner.
You will also assist in customer service and support for our Bid customers.
Responsibilities:
1.
Net Off Invoice Analysis:
Lead net off invoice K12 Procurement Plan, ensuring accuracy and increasing profit margins 2.
Bid Management:
Collaborate with the customer service team to assist in managing bid customers and maintaining strong relationships.
3.
Pricing Coordination:
Communicate and negotiate with manufacturers, vendors and brokers to obtain competitive pricing for bid projects, ensuring optimal margins and profitability.
4.
Bid Documentation:
Assist in the preparation of bid documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with bid requirements and guidelines.
5.
Bid Submissions:
Coordinate and manage the timely submission of bids, adhering to all deadlines and ensuring compliance with bid submission protocols.
6.
Competitive Analysis:
Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends, evaluate market dynamics, and make recommendations to optimize bid strategies.
7.
Data Analysis:
Analyze bid-related data, including pricing, sales volume, and customer feedback, to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving measures.
8.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate bid performance, pricing trends, and key findings to senior management.
9.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and enhance bid management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness in bid operations.
Qualifications:
High School Degree, some college preferred 1-3 years' experience in purchasing and/or Customer Service Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with manufacturers, internal teams, and customers.
Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with bid submission platforms and tools is a plus.
Knowledge of the industry, including understanding of product lines, market dynamics, and pricing strategies, is advantageous.
