- Organize and maintain legal files and documents - Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain case information - Utilize document management systems to store and retrieve legal documents - File and organize physical and electronic documents - Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and making travel arrangements - Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person - Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing - hours can be flexible but must be consistent
Experience:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is preferred - Proficiency in using document management systems and other legal software - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus - Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication skills Note:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
