We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Medical Records Reviewer to join our team.
As a Quality Assurance Medical Records Reviewer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of medical records and documentation.
Skills:
Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the Internet Must have adequate knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology Must possess strong verbal and grammar skills Must have at least a year in related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Responsibilities:
Organizing and summarizing medical records Preparation of charts by confirmation of all included records and removal of duplicate records and unnecessary documents Organization of reports Ensures content, format, and professional appearance of the reports are completed at the highest level of quality and integrity Confirmation of all records for inclusion in reports Performs quality assurance review of reports, addendums or records reviews Review reports for grammar, medical terminology and content accuracy Ensures clear, concise, evidence-based rationales have been provided in support of all recommendations and/or determinations Ensures that all client instructions and specifications have been followed and that all questions have been addressed Identifies any inconsistencies within the report and obtains clarification, modification or correction as needed Ensures that each review is supported by clinical citations and references when applicable Job Type:
