These two positions are for two people to perform an inventory of Government/ Customer and company owned Capital assets. They require the use of a handheld scanner to scan barcodes on asset tags. Training in use of the scanner will be provided. To locate the tags, the individuals may have to move equipment (20 - 30 pounds, heavier items will require more than one person), get behind equipment, climb on ladders, look under tables and shelves, bend to get things that are in low places or on floor level. The interns will be required to go into some dusty, hot, humid areas such as trailers, labs, basements, outside test ranges, etc. Once the assets in the area are scanned, they wil be downloaded to the computer and will be reconciled against the system and existing reports. There will also be opportunities to learn some of the other processes related to the management of Capital and Government assets and assist with audits when requested.
These people are needed as soon as school ends and we will assume that they will taek a one week vacation. They will leave one week before college begins. Because of the high volume of work involved, we need these individuals as soon as possible and for as long as possible, but our expectation is that they will work for a minimum of 12 weeks.

A college student who has completed at least one year of college. Safety conscious, concientious, accurate, organized, dedicated to the assignment, neat in appearance, able to interface with management (good communication/ interaction), able to follow directions, ability to travel between Wayne and Totowa facilities. Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word/ Outlook/ PowerPoint (dersireable) and learn various company systems (basic databases).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
