Survey CAD Technician
Requirements
o Certificate of degree in CAD Design
o Develop working understanding of project file organization, drawing set-up and maintenance.
o Provide and maintain accurate project documentation per office standards including, phone, fax and written documentation.
o Develop a thorough understanding of the office standards for CAD operation.
o Assist team in placing calls to landlords, tenant coordinators, building department officials, and consultants.
o Requires strong knowledge of CAD drafting skills.
o Must be able to self-check own work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
o Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
o Knowledge of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
o Provide in-office support for an existing 3-person survey department.
o Prepare building code analysis information and develop a working knowledge of building codes.
o Assist other staff members with field survey work when required.
o Some problem solving skills required.
o Experience coordinating with the field.
o Attention to detail a must.
o Strong documentation skills.
o Input / record retail spaces from measurements provided by surveyors.
o Knowledge of construction industry, including construction details and engineering systems (M, E, P & Structural).
o Other duties as assigned.
